Safari Planning Questions
When is the best time to visit Tanzania for a safari?
Wildlife viewing is outstanding year-round. The dry season (JuneβOctober) is peak for Great Migration Mara River crossings and concentrated predator sightings around waterholes. January to March is the southern Serengeti calving season where thousands of baby wildebeest are born daily.
Do I need a visa to visit Tanzania?
Most nationalities can obtain a single-entry tourist visa online via the official Tanzania Immigration e-Visa portal or upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Dar es Salaam (DAR).
What vaccinations and health precautions are recommended?
Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if traveling from an endemic area. Routine vaccines (Hepatitis A, Tetanus, Typhoid) and malaria prophylaxis medication are recommended. Consult your local travel clinic 4-6 weeks prior to departure.
How do safari bookings and payments work?
You can book directly on our website or on WhatsApp (+255 784 510 863). We accept secure bank wire transfers and PesaPal. A 30% deposit secures your lodge reservations with the balance payable prior to travel.
