Effective Date: October 2026 | Gibaco Tanzania Safaris

1. Booking Contract

By submitting a booking through www.gibacotanzaniasafaris.com or our authorized representatives, you agree to these booking terms on behalf of all persons named on the reservation. A booking is considered confirmed only when Gibaco Tanzania Safaris receives the agreed deposit and issues a formal written booking confirmation.

2. Custom Quotations & Currency

All custom safari quotes are provided in United States Dollars (USD) unless explicitly specified otherwise. Personalized quotes provided by our safari consultants are based on confirmed lodge room availability, season of travel, national park entry tariffs by TANAPA / NCAA, and government VAT regulations.

3. Deposit & Payment Terms

A standard deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required at the time of booking to secure lodge accommodations and mountain permits. The remaining balance of 70% is due 30 days prior to the safari start date. For reservations made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.

4. Travel & Medical Insurance

Comprehensive travel, medical, and emergency evacuation insurance is mandatory for all clients participating in safaris or mountain expeditions. Clients are personally responsible for verifying that their insurance covers wildlife safaris, high-altitude trekking up to 5,895 meters (if climbing Kilimanjaro), and emergency helicopter evacuation (AMREF Flying Doctors).

5. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
